Fitting for all settings, the Oyster Cult bench is an alternative and continuation of the Oyster chair. Poetry through material expression it is a sculpture of contrast. The solid and heavy rammed earth base of the bench is contrasted by the sleek and thin materiality in the metal piece that makes up the seat and backrest. It is an invitation to sit wherever the context allows and an embracing piece that combines comfort with simple elegance. The piece is fitting for both indoor and outdoor settings

Fela Kuti Bench
Inspired by Italian furniture designer Antonio Citterio, this chair celebrates the whimsy of design in a context that i functional. While rammed earth can be thought of as a strict material, this piece shows that can be a part of something timeless, elegant, and less strict that it is thought to be. While the base is a symmetrical and sturdy block of rammed earth, it holds up an asymmetrical MDF -based seat and backrest that defy minimalism with detail.
